Advertising Agreement

This agreement is between StreetSpan Media ("StreetSpan", "we", "us") and the business buying an ad spot ("you"). It applies when you buy a board ad spot through our checkout. Checking the agreement box and completing your payment means you accept it. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply. If anything in them conflicts with this agreement, this agreement wins for your ad spot.
1. What you're buying
Board ad spot, $600. One printed ad panel on one StreetSpan specials board (your "board") for 12 months.
Second location add-on, $300. If you add it at checkout, the same panel goes on a second board for its own 12 months.
You pay once, at checkout. There are no monthly charges and nothing renews automatically. Prices do not include any sales tax that applies.
2. Your board and your category
Your board is a StreetSpan specials board inside a local host business. If we picked it together before checkout, that's your board. If not, you tell us your category and town after checkout and we match you to a board near you with your category open. If we can't place you on one within 30 days of your purchase, you get a full refund.
While your panel is up, no other business in your category will have a panel on that board. Category exclusivity applies to your board only, not to every board StreetSpan operates. We confirm your category with you before your panel is designed.
3. Your panel
After checkout you send us your details: logo, the phone number and link you want shown, and what you want the panel to say. We design the panel and send you a proof. Your price includes up to two rounds of changes to the proof. Nothing is printed until you approve the proof by email or text, except as described in section 4.
You confirm that you have the right to use everything you send us, including logos, names and images, and that what the panel says is true. Panels must be lawful and suitable for a family audience. We may decline artwork or wording that doesn't meet these standards and will work with you on a version that does.
Want to change your panel partway through your 12 months? Ask us. We'll quote any redesign or reprint before doing it.
4. Install and your 12 months
We install your panel within 30 days of your proof approval. If we can't, you can have a full refund.
Your 12 months start on the day your panel goes up, not the day you pay. We'll send you the install date and a photo of your panel on the board.
If we haven't received your details or your proof approval 30 days after checkout, and we have tried to reach you at least three times by phone, text or email, we may design your panel from your public business information, such as your website or Google listing, and install it. Your 12 months start that day. You can still ask for changes afterward, and we'll quote any reprint before doing it.
5. Refunds
Before your panel goes up: full refund, for any reason. Just ask.
After your panel goes up: no refunds, except as described in sections 7 and 8.
Second location: we pick the second board with you after checkout. If we can't find a board with your category open within 60 days of your purchase, we refund the $300. You can also cancel the second location for a $300 refund any time before that panel goes up.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with. We issue them within 5 business days of your request. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
6. Care of your panel
We print, install and maintain your panel. If it gets damaged, faded or worn, we replace it at no charge. If you see a problem, tell us and we'll take care of it.
7. If your board comes down
Host businesses sometimes close, move or ask for their board back. If that happens, we move your panel to another board with your category open, at no charge, and any days your panel was down are added to the end of your 12 months. If we can't find one, we refund the unused months of your 12 months, prorated by month.
8. Ending early
If we end this agreement for any reason other than a breach by you, we refund the unused months, prorated by month.
We may remove your panel and end this agreement without a refund if your panel or business breaks the law or the standards in section 3, or if you don't pay a charge that was due.
You can ask us to take your panel down at any time. After install, that doesn't come with a refund.
9. No guaranteed results
Boards are placed in businesses we don't control. We can't guarantee a number of views, calls, scans or customers.
10. Photos
We may photograph boards showing your panel and use those photos on our website and social media. If you'd rather we didn't, tell us and we'll leave yours out.
11. Renewal
Nothing renews automatically. We'll contact you at least 30 days before your 12 months end. You get the first chance to keep your category on your board for another term, at the price we quote you then, before we offer it to anyone else.
12. Limits of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, StreetSpan is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits. Our total liability for any claim about your ad spot is limited to the amount you paid for it. The host business is not a party to this agreement. Your agreement is with StreetSpan, and we are responsible to you for your panel.
13. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida.
14. The whole agreement
This agreement, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, is the full agreement for your ad spot. The version on this page on the day you checked out is the one that applies to your purchase. We may update this page for future purchases. Any change to your purchase has to be agreed in writing, and email counts.
